Entry Requirements

Entry to WECL undergraduate programmes depends on individual circumstances. The standard that is generally required is that the student has completed secondary education in their country of origin. The following are some of the recognised school-leaving qualifications which are accepted as the entry requirements for undergraduate/diploma courses.

Arab Countries - Tawjihiya, Thanawia, General Secondary School Certificate                       
Brunei - GCE'O' levels
China - Senior High School Graduation Examination
Europe - Secondary School Leaving Certificate
India - CBSE or ICSE  
Japan - School Leaving Certificate  
Malaysia - SPM  
Nigeria - West African Examinations Council
Pakistan - Secondary School Certificate, FSc, FA,O Level or A Level  
Korea - School Leaving Certificate  
Sri Lanka - GCE 'O' Levels  
Taiwan - Senior High School Certificate  
Thailand - Mathayom 6  
Tanzania - ACSE and CSE or National Form IV and Form VI Examinations  
Turkey - State/Private High School Diploma  
Kenya - Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education  
Uganda - Uganda Certificate of Education  
Zimbabwe - GCE, A or O level
European Countries - GCE, A or O level
