This programme equips students with advanced knowledge of Information
Systems and Software Development skills. Students are expected to take
seven modules. Successful completion of these courses make students
eligible for an award of Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology.
After successful completion of this award students are eligible to apply
for a Masters programme (MSc). Specifically, this programme aims to:
enable students to study advanced IT topics in depth;
help students to benefit from high quality research-led teaching;
enable students to apply their skills and knowledge in project work;
enable students to add a UK Masters degree to their existing
qualifications;
prepare students for careers in the IT industry.

Entry Requirements:
A good first degree in Computing (or subjects such as maths, physics,
engineering, IS etc) which includes some software development; or
substantial commercial/industrial experience including software
development using modern programming languages and design.
Applicants not satisfying above entry requirements are considered on
academic merit and work experience.
English Competency: IELTS 6.0 or a recognized equivalent.

Assignments: 30% Examination: 70%.

Assessment/ Examination:
Assessments for this programme are varied depending on the requirements
of the modules. These can take the form of written assignments,
management reports, presentations and examinations. |
