Diploma & Advanced Diploma in Legal Studies
Introduction

This programme has been developed for those who have an interest in legal studies and wish to develop their general knowledge of the basic concepts of law. The programme is particularly suitable for those whose activities involve them in aspects of law and legislation and also serves as a basis for further professional legal study. To provide participants with a working knowledge of the law which will enable them to examine a series of legal situations and comment on them with confidence.

(A Diploma in Legal Studies is awarded on completion of Parts 1 & 2)

English Requirement: If a Tier 4 (General) student will be studying a course that is below NQF Level 6 (except a Foundation Degree or an English language course), using a CAS issued on or after 12 August 2010, he/she must be competent in English language at a minimum of level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR):
The student must have passed an English language test with an approved test provider for Tier 4, and has achieved at least CEFR level B1 in all four components (reading, writing, speaking and listening). Click here for a list of approved test providers.

Advanced Diploma

Program Structure
